We had a good day Tuesday, making some headway on our To Do list for our property. All the details are here on our Fire Lily Base Camp blog: The work begins....
In addition Sadie will give her version of the afternoon spent on our property on her blog, Sadie Speaks. Enjoy!
Tomorrow is more of the same...as long as the weather holds. Right now it's gorgeous fall weather but on Friday it's supposed to turn much colder for a couple of days. High of 45 and low of 27....brrrrr!
Our first priority is getting things done on the land, second is seeing some good friends and third is checking out a couple of log home events (13th and 20th). Last is getting in some riding...we have several months in Florida to do that. LOL!
Till next time - keep on rollin',

We have RVing friends who are building a place in Washington state. Looks like you are getting closer than they have in the last three years of effort.
ReplyDeleteWe have landed for a few days in Crossville, TN and having rain for the first time in several weeks.
Good luck with your project
I read Prodigal Summer a few years ago and it really made me want to spend time in Tennessee! The trees are amazing. It's fun to watch your progress, Donna.
ReplyDeleteStu & Donna:
ReplyDeleteSome of us non-RV types enjoy hearing of your adventures, and checking out the links to your fellow full timers. Sorry you could not have stayed in Md 1 more week and made our Retired Firefighters Lunch Friday. See you at the Feb Fl. Reunion!
