Free...for a little while I was FREE!!

What a great day I had even though it didn't start out that way. This morning mommy and daddy left me in my crate while they went who knows where (they never tell me ANYthing).

They came back and after a walk I got to take a nap in daddy's lap. But before I knew it, they hustled me up and we headed out in the big white truck. Where were we going? I had no idea. I kept looking around but nothing looked familiar.

Finally we stopped and all got out. Guess what? They took me to see the land they bought. It's got lots of trees, sticks, pine cones, pine needles and other things for me to play with.

Of course I had to mark it so everyone would know it was MY territory. I saw daddy marking it as his territory, too, but he was using a big metal stick. (I think he marked it the way I did but he hid behind a tree!)

Just as I was starting to explore we heard some dogs barking. I wanted to play but their mommy was afraid they might hurt me so daddy put me in the big white truck. Then they walked up to the house with the dogs. I complained LOUDLY but the only one to pay me any attention was the littlest dog from the house. She came over and talked to me. I hope I can meet her one day.

Finally mommy and daddy came back and took me out of the truck. Then daddy TOOK OFF MY LEASH....free, I was FREE!! I raced all over the place. Sniffing, running, stopping, turning...it was great!! I hope I get to do that more often.

Daddy decided to drag some of the trash off the property. I don't know what it was but I had to check it out...first one, then two, then three and finally FOUR of these big round things were in front of me. I never did figure out what they were.

I was one tired but very happy puppy!!
