This morning was general catch up on emails, blogs, Facebook and phone calls. I took care of our extended warranty on the Harley I traded when we were in ND. We had tried to do it earlier but didn't get cooperation initially. This time we got them to fax us the form and I got what I needed sent back to them.
We also got some paperwork sent to our RPI home park, Conestoga Campground in White Sulphur Springs, MT. Stu transferred his Coast to Coast home park, Gettysburg Battlefield Resort in Gettysburg, PA, to his oldest daughter. They love camping and it's close enough for them to use monthly in good weather. Now we need to transfer the Coast to Coast membership over to Conestoga Campground.
Stu called a couple of excavation contractors....talked to one and we will meet him at the land at 8:00 Friday morning. He left a message at another and one was out of business. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with for numbers.
Yesterday we picked up several totes for the storage unit. Today we started pulling things out from our underbed storage. Diner mugs, coffee cups, old state license plates, metal signs, old tax records and assorted other memorabilia like yearbooks, photo albums, etc. We quickly filled up two totes and Stu headed back to Walmart for two more while dropping off what we had already packed up.
Tomorrow is going to be cold with more light showers so I don't expect we will get much done on the land...maybe pull some junk out. LOL!
Oh, and Stu weighed little Sadie today and she's not so little any more...she's just under 12#.
Till next time - keep on rollin',
Donna and Stu

So good to get caught up on your blog. About totes - don't know if there is a Big Lots near you but their totes are like half of Wal-Mart. And they usually have a great selection.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to be spending a day at the storage unit next week - we need to get some warmer clothes out, pick out the Christmas decorations we want to take with us when we go sell Christmas trees - I can't wait to decorate! Love this time of year.
Hope you get some good prices for the excavation! Have a great day tomorrow.
Sounds like you had yourself a busy day.
ReplyDeleteToo bad that chore days are necessary but boy does it feel good when the chores are done and we're back to play days.
