Yup, lots of great FREE recipes books out there and since they are in PDF format, you don't need an eReader to read them. Here are some I found to get you started...
- Recipe4Living's best recipe collections
- Getfreeebooks.com
- Cooking-With-Us.com
- Free Cooking Software and eBooks
- Free Recipes eBooks
- Witguides.com Free Ebooks Library
For those of you still using Adobe Reader, I recommend trying Foxit Reader. It's free and a much smaller program than Adobe Reader (which has gotten really bloated in size over the years). I use it exclusively and removed Adobe Reader from my computer.
PLEASE be sure to read this review that gives some good tips on installation...more and more freeware is following this standard. Oh, and unfortunately this only works for Windows computers...sorry!
Till next time - keep on rollin',

Another good posting. One of the many things I have learned is that RV'ers are generally very good cooks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the links. Have bookmarked this post for future use...am trying to add new recipes into our collection. I tend to fix the same things over and over. Last night I made baked spaghetti - it was pretty tasty and got the recipe from a friend.
ReplyDeleteHave fun cooking and reading.
I goes they would be good when you don't have internet access. Along with my personal recipe collection, I find that I just go to Google for all the recipes that I could ever want. I don't think I've opened a recipe book for ages!
ReplyDeleteSometimes when i don't know what to cook I will just enter a few of the items I have on hand and I can find a recipe for them.
what I would like in the future is a good RV cookbook site on the web. I know RV Dreams has a hard copy cookbook.
Good post. I have been thinking about an e-reader. Always good to find free books. Thanks for finding all those sites.
