I love being a dog...

It's a good life....eat, sleep, play, repeat! I love to play fetch in the house and I try REALLY HARD to remember to "give". Sometimes I'd rather play tug of war though....snicker!

Mommy has been busy with whatever and she hasn't been taking many pictures of me. I know it's not cause I'm not cute because we ALL know that I am.....

My legs keep getting longer but mommy thinks I'm not gaining weight as quickly. I guess we'll find out the next time they bother to weigh me. Gee, you'd think I was more important than that... [I love teasing my parents....]

I'm having great fun running beside daddy on the bicycle. I see SO many dogs and puppies when we're out. Someday I'll get to play with them. I did play with Missy the other day. Her parents moved their house to right across the street from mine!! Oh boy!

Remember the yellow slicker mommy bought me? Well, it rained SO HARD yesterday that I got to wear it. The hood doesn't cover enough of my face and mommy laughs cause I just HAVE to shake. But I liked being drier....but nobody better call me banana dog!

Mommy and daddy are still trying to teach me what they call "commands". So far I do good with sit, shake, wait, ok (when I've been in wait), down, go to bed, not yours, no bite...they're still working on no bark and come. Sometimes I do really good with come but sometimes they just aren't the most interesting thing to catch my attention. Guess I need to work on training them.

I heard mommy tell daddy that we needed to go to the dog park tomorrow. I am SOOOO excited!!!

Sniffing and lickingly yours,
Sadie

  2. Oh, Sadie, you had better get that 'shake', sorted out from the other after-bath 'shake'! It might not be too good if you do the wrong one, at the wrong time.

My Mom says "Shake", so that I will shake the water off in the tub, before dripping all over. I know what she means when she holds my big towel up in front of her!
For that 'hooman' paw thing, she says "High Five", or "Shake Hands".

Might as well learn their 'commands', Sadie, it works out better in the long run, as they will take you to more sniffingly interesting places.

  4. Oh you really like your yellow slicker??? I hated mine, wouldn't walk in it. My mom got a soft blue and red hand me down one last summer, and misplaced it. I say good!!!! I only like very soft shirts! Have fun at the dog park! Love, Billy
