Seven Things...oops, now it's eight things!

These things go around from time to time. This time it came from Diary of a Midlife Cruiser (thanks, Nellie....LOL!). Rather than post as a comment to her blog, I opted to post it here and challenge my readers to post their seven things on THEIR blogs.

So, just for are Seven Things About Me that you might not know.
  1. Had to go with one of Nellie's....I almost never brush my hair. Of course it's short so that makes it easy. LOL!
  2. One of my daughter's met Canned Heat on an airplane ride, the other daughter met Michael Bolton. I met Charlotte Rae in the ladies room at Charlottesville, VA airport. She was violently ill in the stall next to me...I didn't bother her. LOL!
  3. I've always wanted to write since I was in elementary school.
  4. I am OCD about a lot of things...but much better than I used to be. I'm an everything has a place kinda gal, actually been hired due to my organizational skills. For some reason I lost a lot of that once my late husband was diagnosed with cancer. Just didn't seem so important anymore...
  5. I'm an addict when it comes to stationary, pens, paper...can't go in those places. Especially vulnerable to sales... ;-)
  6. I used to own horses...had three different ones in my early 20's. Did a little showing (Western) and one horse won a Halter Confirmation class.
  7. I was born a strawberry blond and I love Twizzlers!!!!
Okay, now it's YOUR turn to post your seven things!

For whatever reason, this didn't post (gotta love Blogger at times....). But it works out because I was tagged in a post by friend Lynilu and get to post....are you ready...EIGHT things! LOL! So here is number 8....but I'm not going to tag anyone're safe this time!

  1. I quit coloring my hair and wearing make-up (most of the time) when I turned 50. I have worn make-up a few times for special occasions, but for the most part...what you see is what you get. LOL!

Donna (Stu got out of this

  1. Loved your 7...I mean 8 things :)

Glad you're in the anti-hairbrush club along with me!

Now, the question is, with all your stationary supplies, (pen, paper, etc) do you USE them, or are you an email and blogging kinda gal these days?

  2. I had to give them up...I'm a blogger gal now. I've discovered that the less you write (pen & ink), the worse your handwriting gets. I can hardly read my own anymore. LOL!!

  3. Same experience. I have decades of hand written journals and stories, and a collection of all sorts of pens. Not the expensive collectors pens, just ones I liked and could afford.

I can hardly write by hand anymore. My keyboarding is pretty good. I can type fast, but would do better to slow down. I also can correct fast, which is necessary since I still think faster than I type.

  4. Thanks for the idea! It was fun. (I like paper stuff too, which is funny cause I way prefer the computer. If there was a way to transfer the text over to my paper journal I'd be so happy.

  5. You've gone up a notch in my book. Twizzlers are great!

We're waiting.....
