Okay, before I write about today, I have to post another refrigerator photo...this time our freezer. Yes, we have one...we are fortunate to have a full 4-door refrigerator with water in the door. Yes, I am spoiled....LOL! Oh and yes, it's always that organized...that's just me. ;-)
Okay, now on to today... We had a lazy morning, sitting outside with our coffee...watching the neighbors get ready to move and reading the newspaper we found left on our lot. Been a while since we'd done that...the weather was perfect. Then we went for a nice 15 minute bicycle ride. We rode slower so that Sadie was pulling less and trotting rather than running.
Just after noon we headed out on the motorcycles for a stop at Petsmart and Sam's Club. On the way we stopped at Cracker Barrel for some lunch. We found a good spot for Sadie, just outside a window where we could watch her. Once inside we found out that section was closed but once we explained what we were doing, they seated us where we could keep an eye on her.
She was an immediate hit with the manager and several of the waitresses coming in and out of the section to watch her in the window. Not sure what it is about her, but she sure attracts a lot of attention. Today she had her picture taken at least 3-4 times, both in person and from passing cars. I love this close up shot of her...
We picked up a couple stuffed toys on sale at Cracker Barrel and headed to Petsmart. Once there, Sadie did her usual "look at me, I'm cute" routine. A few more toys were picked up on sale (70% all holiday stuff) and we made an appointment for Sadie to get her last shot on Monday and then we'll schedule her spaying appointment.
Then it was off to Sam's Club and finally back towards home. The weather had cooled a bit and it looked like rain so we didn't plan on any stops.
But Stu spied a Honda shop that was convenient and we stopped in to get some "Honda Shine" (which is now "Original Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner and Polish"). While there we found out that the clerk was from Kent Island and probably graduated with Stu's oldest daughter, Heather. Small world...
And speaking of worlds...they had a neat sign outside and I took a photo of it.
Not much else is new...I still really like the park. Folks are really friendly and I feel safe and secure here. In the other park I just didn't feel safe...nothing in particular, everything in general. I am MUCH happier now....LOL!
Till next time - keep on rollin',

OMG...Sadie's tongue matches her shades..no wonder she is the main attraction!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the safety... and of course, being cute!
ReplyDeleteDoes Honda Shine sizzle a bit when its sprayed on a Harley?
ReplyDeleteGlad you followed your gut feelings and moved. Feeling safe is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteWow - MORE toys? You guys are spoiling her way too much. Pretty soon she is going to expect them whenever you go inside the Pet toy store and she'll be throwing those awful doggie hissie fits! Throwing herself on the floor and barking like a dog!!! Better cut back a little! ; )
ReplyDeleteThose goggles rock! I want a green pair for when I'm... driving the RV? [Attention fashion police: stay away.]
ReplyDeleteThat has to be THE cutest doggy ever! Those goggles make her look like a very girly biker :)
