We are RAMPED....

Sunday, July 15, 2012

Stu took advantage of a dry late afternoon/early evening, took a drive to Lowe's in Crossville and picked up the lumber to build the ramp for the shed. Once the frame was built, we took it to the property and laid it in place.

Getting started....

Ready to go...

At the property...

Can I help, dad?

Inching it into place...

In place but back will be raised when bolted on...

Today Stu headed back out, hoping to miss the rain (NOT), to secure the ramp to the shed. He and Sadie spent some time in the shed avoiding the rain but the ramp is in place. Next step, coat it with something like truck bed liner and a little gravel or kitty litter mixed in.

Bolted into place, bottom lowered into ground...

Some inside shots...

Monday or Tuesday the utilities are scheduled to be run...hoping the weather cooperates!!

Still rolling,
Stu and Donna

  1. I'm digging that he used the truck bed rails as his flat surface. Never thought of that!

  2. It was amazing how quickly he put it together. Building it on the truck bed made it easy to transport, too.
