Well all the chores are done, bags are packed, Sadie is dropped off at doggy camp, I trimmed my hair myself and we managed to catch the movie "Fast Five" while in Cookeville (yes, we both enjoyed it very much...good action flick).
It's supposed to start raining sometime tonight and looking at the forecast, we may be riding in rain all day. We're as ready as we can be. We still hope to make 300 or so miles tomorrow and Wednesday, leaving us with about 150 miles on Thursday.
My stepson's calling is Thursday evening and his memorial service is Friday morning. We will head back home on Sunday, arriving some time on Tuesday.
Needless to say, blogging most probably won't happen till after we get home. See you then!
Till next time - keep on rollin',

ReplyDeleteYou both stay safe. This isn't what's considered a "pleasant" trip, but the fact that you're there will be much appreciated by the rest of the family, and make it worth the effort. Prayers & thoughts are with you and your stepson's family.
