Day Three, Rochester Arrival

Friday, May 6, 2011

Last leg of the trip....we loaded up the bikes (in the nice covered parking area that we lucked into) and made it on the road about 9:15 am. Temps were in the mid to upper 40's but SUNNY! What a difference....

Two stops, one for gas and coffee and another for gas and lunch. We made good time other than hitting some construction on I-90 in New York. The day continued to warm (yippee) and we finally pulled into our hotel shortly after 4 pm.

The evening was spent at my stepson's calling, always good to see family but with the circumstances were different. Late dinner with my son and his wife, finally back to the hotel about 11 pm.

Tomorrow is the memorial service and we'll be visiting with family in the afternoon. Everyone is trying to remember the good times....

Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful wishes and thoughts...they mean a lot!

Till next time - keep on rollin',
Donna and Stu
