6/2/17: Celebrate the Small Things

Friday, June 2, 2017

It's Friday and time to post my Celebrate the Small Things on my blog. If you'd like to join in the fun or check out some other participating blogs, click the image to the right.

My small things for this past week:
  • My left eye is now 20/20
  • My right eye is officially scheduled for surgery on 6/12
  • Hubby got the reverse switch replaced on his Harley TriGlide
Small in the grand scheme of things, but all in all, a good week.

My son retires this month with 20yrs+ from the army, and has started his new job with the VA facility in SC. I am so very proud of him to continue devoting his life to VETS in need. I am truly proud of him, but this makes his mom feel very old as he is my baby and he turned 41 last month. 3m. My great niece with Down Syndrome graduated high school. 21 and we are so very proud of her!! And my nephew and his wife are such very special people. 4. Bought a new to us and them travel trailer!! 3. I agree with Kimberly. 20/20 eyesight is a big thing. That's wonderful news. Does that mean after your surgery you'll have 20/20 in the right eye as well?
Lovely photo of you and your husband btw.

    1. I wish that but the right eye is much more nearsighted and we don't know how good it will be. I'll be happy with 20/60 since I will have to have glasses anyway.

  5. I'm so happy to hear your eye is 20/20! Great news! I'm so silly, I thought they'd do both eyes at once. But then you couldn't see. This way you can still see while your eye heals. Duhh!! Good luck with your new surgery!
