Stu's Sunday Travels - Happy Father's Day

I've decided to copy Stu's Facebook posts here to keep everyone updated as to his trip.

9AM
Dodged most of the rain yesterday around St Louis. Now going to head a little North to Cedar Rapids to avoid more weather to the West. If the MC gods will it, I'll meet up with Duane Bonnie and Earl there.

NOON

Following the Mississippi North — at Great River Road.

2PM
Crossing the Illinois River — at Kampsville Ferry

Lunch at nice little town park — at Donnellson, IA.

 

Stop for a coffee and "scream". Meeting the Duane crew west of here later this evening. — in Iowa City, IA.

7PM

Staying nite. The Duane (Duwopers) are on the way. — at Best Western Plus Pioneer Inn & Suites.

So looks like he had a good riding day, starting out damp and ending up with good friends. They'll spend the next two weeks going to Sturgis and surrounding areas. His buddies Duane and Earl have never been out there, should be a blast!

Me? Busy writing and sticking to my diet. Sadie had a great day, she spent hours following the neighbor's ATV around the big pasture, accompanied by one of the Beagles, Jada. She came home about an hour ago and is now SOUND asleep.
