We still have to see how all this will fit in/on the cargo trailer and bikes. Should be interesting. We recently got two Harley-Davidson tourpack luggage racks to mount on the top of BRAT.
They will be mounted with the upper edges to the front and back of BRAT. Should work well...we hope. LOL!
Oh, Sadie (our new pup) will ride in the back seat of the trike so our luggage will all go into either the trike's trunk or in/on BRAT. We're assuming that all our motorcycle gear will fit in the trunk and my saddlebags, freeing up the inside of BRAT for camping gear and a large bag of clothes.
We will be doing several packing tests before we head out in May. I expect we'll be taking less clothes than we (me) think we need. Hee-hee! So any and all thoughts, suggestions...feel free.
Ride safe,
Stu and Donna
I suspect you both have suitable personal knives and utility knives, but I will mention them simply because they are important.
ReplyDeleteAlso, several options for starting fires. Being able to start a fire is pretty important, even if you never actually build one. Must be all of that survival training I got when I was younger.
I am rather glad I had that training. :-)
Do try all these things at home before you go. I'm concerned about being able to brew coffee on a folding cup then drinking from a cup with no handle. And I don't even drink coffee! :)
ReplyDeleteLinda, we will be carrying our thermos and two stainless steel coffee travel mugs. Guess I need to add that to the list. Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeletesounds like you have given a lot of thought. Make sure you add an anti itch ointment to your first aid kit, bugs will be out and hungry. lol
