The weather was perfect, a little cool but with lots of sun. Who would have believed it had rained so hard the night before. We got off a stop too late and had to walk back to the cafe. It gave us some nice shots of the facade.
More delightful views inside the restaurant...we ate downstairs and then wandered upstairs to see some of the motorcycles on display. Then a quick stop in the retail shop where Stu bought a really nice sweatshirt on sale. (Sidenote...even though it's your size, try things on. After washing, I now have a really nice sweatshirt...LOL!)
We walked back slowly, really enjoying the weather and the views. Las Vegas is unlike any other city I've been to. I had actually been here 20 years ago but there was no similarity between the two visits. We stopped to enjoy some great music, browse some street vendors, and just generally enjoy everyone who was enjoying the city.
We stopped at the Wynn to get our tickets. They have had such a problem with counterfeiting that they are VERY cautious about who gets in. We had to show photo ID and the credit card used. Then our left hand was stamped and wristbands were put on. We were handed our tickets and warned against photo taking...cell phones and cameras would be confiscated after one warning.
We did see the ugly side of Las Vegas on our walk back to the KOA. Do NOT zoom in on this photo if you have a weak stomach....honest! And yes, she was sound asleep.
One more part to come!
Till next time - keep on rollin',
Donna & Stu
