Cruise on the Disney Dream - Part Two

...continued from part one.

After dinner, we stopped to watch the Christmas tree lighting ceremony before heading to the show. We got Wavy to move to the front roped off area with the other kids and we stood back. Nice little interlude.

Then it was on the the opening show, the Golden Mickeys(or something like that), a review of the top Disney movies of the past. Just before the show started, a staff member came by and asked if Wavy would be interested in appearing on stage briefly with Snow White. Well, YEAH! LOL! She got to keep on her Princess dress but did don a beard & hat to be one of the dwarves (holding Snow White's hand). Normally there is no recording of photos or videos but during the show but we were allowed to shoot while she was on stage.

...a short video.

Back in the room, we found a HUGE crab (or maybe a sea turtle - we weren't sure)!

Off to bed..

Day two - Nassau. While we never planned on getting off, we had hoped it would be warm enough for the pool. Nope! Still WAY too cold for swimming, unfortunately. So we did some character greets. Waverly loved that and got them to sign her autograph book.

She met a friend while Stu and I enjoyed our iced cappuccino drinks. Then we headed off to the Oceaneer Club where she could have some fun for a few hours. Disney has this dialed in. When she first checked in, she got a Magic Band similar to those you get at Walt Disney World. That linked her to us (& our cabin#). We could opt to carry the phones in our cabin or, better yet, use the Disney Cruise app on our phones. They sent us a message when she was ready to leave. She stayed several hours, even enjoyed lunch there.

We passed this character on our way out...

Then we toured the ship and shops, snapping a few photos.

The Disney Wonder was parked beside us...

...and Royal Caribbean on the other side.

After lunch we picked up Wavy and headed off to see "Ralph Wrecks the Internet". If you haven't seen this, DO!!

Then it was time for another character greet.

A little rest time in the room, a few photos leaving Nassau, then on to dinner. I should note there are three restaurants. You rotate nights between them but keep the same wait staff. We had Craig from Jamaica and Sipho from Indonesia. They were both fantastic! (As was Putu, our room steward, and Ari, my favorite barista.) Last night we were in the Royal Palace (thus a good night for Wavy to be a princess), tonight would be Animator's Palate. We were treated with ever changing animation from the Nemo movies. At one point, Crush talked directly to those nearest to him. We got treated with that...fun!

Tonight it was me and Waverly with Mickey bars!

Found another tree...

In for the night, a little television and sleep!

Continued in Part Three (should be warmer tomorrow, we hope!!!)

Ciao for now!
