So every Friday I will post about a few things that happened during the week. Mostly good things, but it might even be "surviving" a not-so-good thing. LOL!
My small things for this past week:
- I'm so thankful for a "handy hubby". When our dryer quit, out of warranty of course, he opened it up and diagnosed the issue. He ordered the part and it arrived Tuesday. He installed it and it's now working.
Then he did the annual chore of sanitizing our fresh water tank which included checking the anode rod in our water heater and replacing the filter under the kitchen sink. Normally things go smoothly, this time a lot of water was spilled under the sink entailing removal of everything in the bottom of two cabinets. But it's now replaced and working well and we have water in our tank that is safe to drink.
- I GOT A HAIRCUT! I was way overdue and with our daughter's wedding this weekend, much needed. I opted for convenience and tried Sport Clips. They aren't just for guys...us gals with short hair can use them and 1) save money and 2) get some extras like a tea tree oil shampoo and massage AFTER the cut, which is perfect as it gets rid of all those pesky little hairs.
- The hydrangea bush in the front yard where we are parked is blooming. Gorgeous!
Ciao for now!
You really need to let everyone know that Stu is a handy small thing. The one thing that surprised me most when I got to meet him was that he was not at least 6 foot tall. Hell, I think he is probably an inch or so shorter than my 5'8". So... you really are celebrating the small thing you married. LOL
ReplyDelete5'7" to be exact! But whose counting!
ReplyDeleteLove everything! Harvey has been planting wildflower seeds in a small patch near our apartment door. He's hoping to bring some pretty butterflies back since we lost one of our "butterfly bushes." Luckily if something breaks, we just call maintenance! LOL
ReplyDeleteSheila, it's good to be able to call maintenance. I guess that's Stu's new nickname! LOL!!
DeletePS. So glad I got the REPLY function working!
