On October 3rd we did the annual
Red Helmet Ride in honor of fallen firefighters. We did this
last year and Stu did it the year before. We plan on doing it every year we can. The campus is beautiful, as seen in
photos taken without the event in progress. But seeing all the families of lost loved ones, lining the street coming in is a moving moment. Take a moment to review the
official photos from the memorial weekend....the work done by the
National Fallen Firefighter Foundation is amazing and moving.
We only took a few photos, two showing our Honor Bears on our bikes and three of the official fire truck murals. I hope everyone who is in the area, or even close to it, the first weekend in October will consider participating in the event!
