When we first arrived home, I noticed these weeds in the empty lot across the street. I recognized Queen Anne's Lace from growing up in the country but had never seen a round flower. I just had to snag a few photos.
I used my PlantNet app on my phone to see if I could identify the round flower and came up with Wild Carrot.
Here are some photos on the same lot showing the flatter Queen Anne's Lace flower I remembered.
I've since learned that Wild Carrot is just another name for Queen Anne's Lace, but I also learned the Hemlock plant is eerily similar. This page has a wealth of information and at the bottom shows the difference between the two.
Ciao for now!
