The first one was held on Monday night at Pericos [their website]. They offered a great buffet of traditional Mexican food accompanied by Mariachi music and followed by fun & games (and great dancing) for all ages.
The decor is amazing with tributes to the Day of the Dead, including a motorcycle tableau. The costumes, the music, the statues, the murals, the furniture and the amazing staff (who not only served us but balanced drinks on their heads, danced, partied and just generally joined in the merriment)...we had a great time and I would definitely visit again!
Here are some of the photos...more at SmugMug.
The second night out was at Senor Frog's....needless to say, I was in my element there. LOL! We had already visited two of their retail stores and picked up some shirts so I was ready to see the real thing. I continued my tradition of trying new foods that I hadn't ever tried but stuck with a smallish sized drink rather than the HUGE one.
Silly signs, great music, funny balloon hats for everyone, marshmallow fights, water slide tubes, CO2 blasts (to the crowd & to volunteers that hung upside down and got spun with the blast), silly name tags, lots of dancing...and more that I have already forgotten. It was really a great time...check out the pics below and see more at SmugMug.
The next blog will show some of the shopping we did in Cancun...
Till next time - keep on rollin',
Donna & Stu
Looks like lot of fun, especially the hats.
