Well, we survived...
An early trip from the airport and breakfast at McDonald's....
Then it was on to Pigeon Forge and WonderWorks....
Followed by a day at Dollywood....
The #2Doods enjoyed their visit although Cooper took several days to get used to the young'uns, Murphy was a different story....
A trip to the Dollar Store for candy and this....
Several games of Clue and Monopoly were played, books were colored in and jigsaw puzzles were assembled....
A dinner at Pizza Hut....
A trip to the movies to see "Transylvania 3"....
And ended with another early morning trip to the airport....and a tryout of the massage chairs....
Maybe this time next year again? Who knows....
Ciao for now!

Mary and I loved Dollywood. You'd think the place would be tacky, but it's quite well-done, and I know the people of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville appreciate the jobs it brought. For them, it was a Godsend. Dolly's a great woman.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you had the time to visit with the granddaughters.
We always enjoy our visits there, whether for the shows, shopping or rides. Definitely a favorite place and glad we could share it with the girls.
DeleteYou are exhausted. After having our granddaughters for 10 weeks we miss them but we sure appreciate the rest and quiet.
ReplyDeletePhyllis, you are so right. As much as we love them, it's always nice to get our home back. LOL!
