The sun is shining....

Thursday, October 6, 2011

Finally, a couple of sunny days with nice temperatures. We took advantage of that on Tuesday and drove over to get my motorcycle...finally!! Oh, and for those not following us on Facebook, Stu got an A+ on his colonoscopy. Good for another 10 years.

The rest of the week has been spent doing chores, continuing knee PT for Stu and chiropractor appointments for me. Tonight is dinner with our Thursday friends, tomorrow we move the rig over to Stu's oldest daughter's yard in DE for a week. Saturday we will head to D.C. with Stu's youngest daughter who is picking up her first Harley - a 2011 Softail Deluxe in just the colors she wanted. We're so excited for her!

We will continue chores while in DE but also plan to visit Mike's Famous HD so Stu can get his shirt from Delaware. That leaves him only a few more states left to get...then it will be time to find someone who can turn all 50 shirts into a two-sided (25 each side) quilt.

Sadie and Fiona have REALLY enjoyed the sun....check it out!

Thanks to everyone who identified the last flower photo as a Passion Flower. Here's another photo from the past....

Till next time - keep on rollin',

  1. What a cool idea for a quilt. That's going to be one expensive quilt when it's all said and done though! LOL!

  3. Seriously? You would cut up all those Harley shirts for a quilt?? It IS a GREAT idea for dealership shirts, once the shirts dont fit, or are too stained or ripped or worn... but before then?
Heck, That is such a cool idea... a person could buy the cheap clearance shirts that are the wrong size or style, just for the logo and name.
I collect shot glasses from Harley Dealerships. Im still missing many States on the East side.
