A look back...WAY back...

I spend a lot of time on Facebook (I know, too much time some days). But it can be interesting and for me, it's a great way to keep in touch with family and friends who live far away (which is the majority).

Today one of my stepdaughters posted a challenge to share a current photo beside one taken 20-30 years. I took her up on it and this is what I posted.

What do you think? The early one was when I was wearing contacts and had naturally wavy hair. I  was in the 110-115# range. My career in IT was just starting and I was on marriage #2 with no hint of a #3 (or the widowhood that would lead me to #4).

Anyone up to the challenge on their blog? Post a link in the comments - if you dare!

Ciao for now!

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog (A Bench with a View) and your comment. I'm not sure I could do this challenge, LOL. I don't like recent pictures of me and rarely post anything like this on Facebook or any other social media. You aged very gracefully and kindly and beautifully :) I like how you knew what your weight was at the time of the first picture. Give me any time in my 61 years of living on this planet and I can tell you pretty much exactly what I weighed, LOL :)

We recently had dinner with my hubby's brother and sister-in-law. I commented to my SIL that of the 4 of us she had changed the least over the years. Its interesting how we age, some more gracefully than others. What amazes me is how fast the time went by!

    1. Thanks so much, Betty. I was thin most of my life so that part was easy. LOL! I've always hated photos of me, the old one was one with my ex (had to carefully crop him out). It wasn't too bad, even with the silly face. My more recent photos are decent if I'm smiling, hides a multitude of wrinkles. LOL!
