Again about a group of very strong women. I have read every book she has written. She has several series books, and as suggested above, it is best to start at the beginning.Patricia Cornwall's Kay Scarpetta books are very good too. I am absolutely addicted to these books. They have a little of everything, supernatural animals, vamps, sex, etc. I am waiting for her 9th book to come out, supposed to May of this year. Until then I am reading an unauthorized sequel online at http://www.fanfiction.net/u/75004/Terri_Botta. The follow ups are #'s 1, 2, & 3.<br><br>I also love any books by Tess Gerritsen, she writes murder/horror books. It is the sequal to his autobiography "One Ranger" <br><br>Jackson was a Texas Ranger working the area along the Mexican boder in the 1960s through the 1980s. So far I've read "Sky of Stone" and "The Keeper's Son" now I'm reading his book "The Ambassador's Son".<br>Homer Hickam is the guy that wrote "Rocket Boys" that book was made into a movie called "October Sky". It's about a group of WV coal miner's kids that started building rockets. Watching the movie is what motivated me to start reading his books.<br>I'm also reading Ellis Peter's "A Morbid Taste For Bones" and I'm reading ARRL's "Extra Class License Manual" I'm trying to upgrade my ham license from General to Extra Class.... And, his hero in all but one of the earlier ones is a serial killer, Serge Storm. Lots of true Florida trivia in the books. Laugh out loud humor throughout too. And, Serge is really a good guy who only kills those who need killing (like the hurricane price gouger and the bozo in the boom box car beside you in traffic). Trust me, when you meet someone fitting the bill of one of Serge's kills, you'll say to yourself, "Where the hell is Serge when you need him?" checkout timdorsey.com His latest is to be released on Jan 29 -- I just preordered it on Amazon<br><br>All of David Baldacci's books are good, but I've really enjoyed the 4 (out of last 5) that were about the Camel Club. Hint: Start back with "The Camel Club" book and then go forward.<br><br>Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels are a hoot. The characters are wild -- Lulu (a retired 'ho) and Grandma with her love of going to funerals -- will leave you in stitches. (They all have a number in the title and she's up to #14)<br><br>Sue Grafton's A, B, C series is a good read.
