We pulled off I-15 and parked on top of the fuel tanks at the Texaco in Idaho Falls before we realized that the trailer was on fire. Then we discovered that I couldn't get the truck out of Park. Fortunately the fire department responded quickly.Jorgito's dadhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10321895269995988269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1645722792801480537.post-29240666275278864462011-10-24T07:16:30.374-04:002011-10-24T07:16:30.374-04:00Been there...done that...LOL! You might check with your tire company on the damage. Our tires are Goodyear...and they stood behind them...after inspecting the tire they sent us a check for damages and a new tire....Debbie Goodehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04358767731439958975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1645722792801480537.post-22718329139682268492011-10-23T09:01:13.656-04:002011-10-23T09:01:13.656-04:00Holy Crap! I left an immediate trail of debris on the road, which we were able to avoid by some expert drivage by Fabgrandpa. This has been the trip for us seeing flat tires and blow outs on other rigs. Just hope we get where we are going without having one ourselves.Karenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11731276173410889180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1645722792801480537.post-70800254247387837012011-10-22T09:42:48.656-04:002011-10-22T09:42:48.656-04:00Holy shredded rubber Batman! Would I be right in guessing that the reason RV trailers and indeed big trucks seem to get more blowouts than almost any other type of vehicle is the driver / passengers cannot feel the trouble before it goes bang, like you can in a car or on a bike?
