A good all in one with an automatic document feeder is a must have. does everything everytime.

Some years ago, I got an HP Photosmart 1218 with a duplexer on it. Won't ever get a printer without one, again. Prints both sides without a manual turn-around step. Cuts most of my paper usage in 1/2... for starters. Duplex is my default printing setup so no matter what computer prints to it, they have to specify a single sheet feed or they get it on both sides.

I almost got the 4500 but found a new PSC 7820 for $109, I could not pass that up. Does USB, Ethernet, Wifi, Bluetooth and has built in card readers for most flash cards along with built-in flash card printing controls so no PC is required to print stuff.

I really like the wireless and BT because I can print directly from my laptop or smart phone without wires or moving flash cards around to get stuff printed.Emery Nashhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06043909379644089685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1645722792801480537.post-38778432556727995542010-10-30T10:54:22.648-04:002010-10-30T10:54:22.648-04:00I miss having a scanner. I'd love it if we could scan all those so I could include some in my blog now and then. But, I don't know when we'd find the time to scan them. :)Lindahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12734450335251336493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1645722792801480537.post-47082929094162257112010-10-29T17:17:23.934-04:002010-10-29T17:17:23.934-04:00I think Red is one movie I would actually go see a...I think Red is one movie I would actually go see at a theater. I need to do some scanning but somehow it always gets put to the bottom of the list.Jim and Sandiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16108729200561576870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1645722792801480537.post-23792878896186004782010-10-29T15:37:04.742-04:002010-10-29T15:37:04.742-04:00Actually, it's not all that big and very light...Actually, it's not all that big and very lightweight. You can get smaller printers but not with a flat scanner (since that has to be at least 8x11).

Product Dimensions: 15.8 x 17.1 x 8.5 inches ; 13 poundsDonna aka Froggihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13232288000758900407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1645722792801480537.post-86858049599696056312010-10-29T15:32:48.658-04:002010-10-29T15:32:48.658-04:00I guess that's a dumb question. Looks pretty big! I have thought when we are on the road for more than a couple of months it would be good to have a small printer at least.Malonehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00332448503740101970noreply@blogger.com
