Post Cruise Update - Part III - Carnival Miracle

Tuesday, December 20, 2016

This was our first time on the Carnival Miracle but not the first on this class of ship. It used to be our favorite but has been superseded by the Conquest Class. The decor didn't make much sense in light of the name - Miracle - everything was movie scenes. And we were a bit surprised that with today's politically correct environment that CCL hasn't had to cover some of the, umm, more exposed body parts. LOL!

Here are some general photos taken on the ship during our three weeks on board as well as in the home port.

Queen Mary, lit up at night:

Sunset as we left for our first week aboard:

Wall beside our cabin - we only had one neighbor since the life boats were on the other side. We loved it!

The Mad Hatter Lounge:

The Atrium being decorated for Christmas while the ship loaded:

Our walking deck:

Dressed for formal night:

This is one of the milder paintings scattered in the public area - butts were everywhere. We even heard a litlte girl mention it to her mom. We had to laugh!

Gatsby's Garden - a quiet walkway under the main theater. The first week it was full of teenagers. The next two weeks it was empty most of the time. I would have tried writing here but there were no electrical outlets.

A selfie taken in Gatsby's Garden:

Best Bloody Mary's ever!

I asked if I could take a photo of her light-up shoes! Main Dining Room dinnertime:

This guy practiced Tai Chi for 15-20 minutes outside the library windows where I was working.

Bar staff dancing to a great Latino duo we enjoyed listening to:

Towel animals on the Lido Deck stage, the blue and yellow are beach towels:

And last but not least, the gingerbread garden!

PS. You can see ALL our trip photos HERE.

Ciao for now!
