Getting closer....

To keep it short and sweet, Stu is still on target for coming home on Friday. If there is any delay, we should hear about it tomorrow when he gets his staples removed.

Stu has been busy working on a new page for our blog, "Stu's Bilateral Knee Replacement", where he explains the reasons behind his (and the doctor's) decision to do both knees at one time. In the second section he talks about getting ready and the day of surgery.

He will continue through his hospital stay and in-house rehab when time allows. If you know of anyone considering a single or bilateral knee replacement, we hope they will find this information helpful.

On a lighter note, Sadie came home today...after visiting "daddy". Needless to say, after two weeks at doggy camp, she is one pooped puppy! She blogged, too!

Till next time - keep on rollin',
Donna and Stu

  2. So glad to hear that Stu is still on track for coming home Friday. I'll be interested to read about his decision to have both knees done at once. On the one hand, it does make sense in terms of having the surgery eat up chunks of your life in recovery time. On the other hand, takes a lot of courage, too.
