Sunday Sundries.....on a Saturday

First is a note about a couple of followers....it shows how small our world really is! I've found that I have several followers from other countries. Two of them have blogs...I can't read a word on either one but wanted to acknowledge both of them.

One is from a lady named, Nina and she has three blogs. They are: Nina, Раздорская Нина Фёдоровна and С Ниной на кухне. The other appears to run a vacation site in Albania: Vacanze in Albania. Interesting!

Next is a thank you to the folks at Preppy Pet in Leesburg...we've watched Sadie several days now on their web cam. She is truly having a blast. She's been in with small, medium and large dogs and gotten in lots of socialization and play time. She will be ready for some quiet when she comes home. Sadie posted some photos yesterday on her blog.

Now on to Tennessee news...I have a friend who is trying to sell off 15 acres of land just on the western side of Nashville. Here is what she sent me:

Selling AS IS: 15 acres with approx 4 to 5 acres cleared the rest are wooded. Includes a 3brdm 2bath mobile with living room, den, fireplace plus complete hookup for another mobile or house. The mobile needs a lot of work. The place has had two mobiles on it previously.

It is on Hwy 231 in McEwen Tn, the address is 4370 Erin Rd McEwen Tn 37101, Humphreys County. There is a new golf course down the road. The area is growing and if the land is parted out, there could make several lots.

Currently there is a renter in the mobile home and I am sure they may want to stay if someone wants for investment. Taxes run $235.00 a year but can be reduced if used for farming.

Asking $65,000 or best offer. The land is free and clear and the owner has the title.

If you or anyone you know might be interested, please contact me and I will put you in touch with my friend.

Stu found a poster of a photograph in Denny's (Photo-shopped by Denny's...we're not looking for that version...LOL!) and we are hoping to find a reproduction for his eventual garage. If anyone ever comes across a poster of this, please get the information and pass it along to us. We've done a lot of Googling and have yet to come up with a resource to buy this. Thanks!

I finally got the last of the photos from the past few days off of Stu's phone. Here is one of me with my frog visor and new shirt and another of me lounging around in the Rainforest Cafe store.

Now on to some reader comments (some I can't reply via email since they didn't use their email addy and their blogs don't have a link to email either, others, just jotting the note here for my convenience...LOL!).

First, Deborah asked about Orlando campgrounds. Deb...it all depends on where you need to be in Orlando. Big area with lots of traffic so post or email me with a better idea as to what you plan to be doing and where.

Next, Dennis & Donna...it's surprising how many we run into...retired firefighters, that is. We follow several other couples that are as well. Not all have blogs but here are the ones I know of: Mark and Dortha and John and Bridget.

Jeff and Barbie as well as Deb K....definitely small world. Stu did live on the eastern shore (Kent island) but worked in Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Kerri...Stu said you didn't tell him you wanted to come! ;-)

Well, that about covers it for today....life is good!

Till next time - keep on rollin',
Donna and Stu

  1. Donna, thanks for the offer to suggest a campground in Orlando. We need to be within half an hour of the Orange County Convention Center, which is 9400 Universal Boulevard. I certainly don't mind being out of the beaten path and drive in to the Convention Center. Just thought you may know of something. I've done some research, but so far have not found much. Thanks!

  2. I'll keep my eyes open for that pic--it is cute, at least from what I can see.
