It's that time of year....

It's that time of year....time to find that perfect gift for that special person. As RVers it can be even more of a challenge since we are traveling. Every year I try to help my friends that are supplementing their income by selling items they make. Here is this year's list!

Quack Attack

Funny little ducks make great stocking stuffers. Know someone who loves tie-dye, this is the spot for you. Retro or modern, adults or kids, Jan's got the shirt! This is one of my lady rider friends.

Hartley Soap

My friend Robin continues to expand her line of soaps. I hate to use them, they smell SO good. Already in packages ready for gifting...hard to resist! Robin is another long-time lady motorcycle friend.

A Friendly Spirit

My cousin Annie has made bookplates for many years. She has expanded into other areas as well. Check it out!

Clay Graphics

Another lady rider friend, Shanon, makes unique, one of a kind items. Wallets, journals, purses that you won't find anywhere else. She also custom paints helmets!

FabGrandma's Crafts

Karen makes and sells jewelry, quilts, purses, totes, wallets, aprons and more. I have purchased several items from here and love them all. Contact her directly for custom orders for wallets, totes and purses. You won't regret it! BTW, Karen is a full-time RVer.

Second Time Around Art

As Ken and Angela prepare for a life of full-time RVing, they work on their side business of creating new items from old.

"Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value."

Flapper Hats

Elva and Chuck are also retired RVers. Elva makes these adorable hats. I Love, Love,LOVE these hats....so many to choose from. Buy one for you and several for gifts!! Or buy several for you, too! You can't go wrong.

Perfectly Goode

Deb only has a couple of items in her shop right now but what she has is spectacular. We had to order the puppy ornament...it looks JUST like our little Sadie. It will be her "Puppy's First Christmas" ornament. Deb is another full-time RVer.

Kamala Boutique

Last but not least is a retail store run by a lady motorcycle rider friend of mine. I have bought several items from her in the last couple of years and she doesn't disappoint.

If you can't visit her store in Massachusetts, browse her online selections. Don't see what you want? Contact her and she'll see what she can come up with! Amazing service....

  1. Donna,

I think what you have done in your post today for your friends is terrific. I have passed the link to your blog on to others.

Thank you for your very helpful comment. At this point, we do not have a router, but it has been under consideration recently. I did not know to disconnect the Air Card from the router, so I will remember this. Thank you again, sincerely appreciated.
