Then it was on to PETCO where Sadie got some new rawhide chews, a new collar (she's almost outgrown the current one), a new harness (almost fits...needs a couple more pounds), some doggy tennis balls and a training lead.
I walked Sadie while Stu walked over to Sears to pick up some wrenches that he was missing. From there we headed to Logan's Roadhouse for a great dinner with our good friend, Joanne. She was also our realtor when we bought our land here in Jamestown, TN.
Today we headed out early to the property to watch the excavation work. You can read all the details in our Fire Lily Base Camp blog and see some photos. Sadie had a blast with her friend Keta while the equipment did their thing, she'll be commenting on her day in her blog tomorrow.
In the meantime, here's a cute shot...got a good caption for it?
We've had a couple good ones posted in Facebook:
- "Slow Down there ya little whipper snapper... I'm old and slow...."
- "Watch and learn, Padawan. The humans are slow in thought and foolish. Our time will come."
- "Hey, Squirt. You got cute, but I got brute .... don't forget it."
