Heading off to Alaska

Monday, June 7, 2010

Today is the first day of our cruise to Alaska. We'll be packed and ready to go when our shuttle service picks us up at 11:30 am. We should be getting to the port in Seattle in an hour or so, depending on traffic.

Check-in should be smooth and go quickly...this boat only carries 560 or so passengers. Even though it will be full, it will take a lot less time than our cruise to Panama that carried over 2500 passengers.

We depart Seattle at 4PM and our first day will be spent at sea. That will give us time to find our way around the ship and to meet our fellow passengers. It will also give us some pool time and I'll get to really experience my new Kindle. I've preloaded a LOT of books...95% of them were free. LOL!

We are EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Till next time - keep on rollin',
