What is your New Year's Eve tradition?

Thursday, December 31, 2009

Stu and I were talking about our past life traditions and it got me to wondering about how others might celebrate non-traditionally. Forget parties and ball drops, looking for fun and unique ways to see in the New Year.

Happy 2010 to everyone!!!!

  1. After some appetizers and conversation, about 11 p.m., we like to pack up our friends and our beverage of choic,e and slowly putt up and down the canals where we live by boat. The boat is in a slip right underneath the house so it’s - drop the boat and go. There are always fireworks everywhere and people celebrating.

Tomorrow, we will have ham, cabbage, blackeye'd peas and anything else that will bring us good luck and money. I may even through a bucket of water off the deck tonight to finally be rid of 2009. ;)

  2. We always stay home with the kids, and now my kids are doing the same with their kids. We make Chef Boyardee Pizza and toast the New Year in with New York and a glass of Grape Juice.
